Terms and Conditions

By using this website you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

About the site

printersage.com (“the site”) is operated as PrinterSage. The site publishes general educational information about choosing, setting up, using and maintaining printers. It does not sell products or services.

Information only, not professional advice

Guides are general and educational. Printers, operating systems and apps differ by manufacturer, model and version, so steps may not match yours exactly. Follow your printer’s manual and the manufacturer’s instructions where they differ, and contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for repairs.

Your responsibility

You decide whether and how to follow a guide. Follow the safety information in your printer’s manual, turn the printer off and unplug it before reaching inside, let laser printers cool before clearing jams, and stop if something doesn’t look right. Never remove panels or covers the manual doesn’t tell you to open, or bypass safety switches. Download drivers and software only from the manufacturer, Windows Update or Apple.

Acceptable use

You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy guides to other websites, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the site for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The text, design, logo and illustrations on the site belong to PrinterSage unless stated otherwise. Brand and product names, including HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, belong to their owners and are used only for identification. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

We link to manufacturer, operating-system and industry websites for reference. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep guides accurate and current, but we can’t promise every detail is complete, current or error-free, or that a step will solve your problem. We may change or remove content at any time, and the site may sometimes be unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided “as is”, and PrinterSage is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including damage to devices, data or property, or purchasing decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
